A rodeo show at the Meiji Shrine stadium in Tokyo, Japan. American Occupation Forces present a rodeo show at the stadium. A band plays on the field in the stadium. For an opening act, Lieutenant Dick Ryan, former Hollywood stuntman, does some fancy stepping and riding on "First Frost" one of Emperor Hirohito's horses. This is followed by traditional "bronc bustin" and steer riding events. One rider is thrown by a horse, and several are thrown by steers.
(Note: The stadium was re-constructed and dedicated as the National Stadium, where the opening ceremony of the 28th Olympic games was held on October 10,1964 and where various track and field games and the closing ceremony were also held.)
