An aircraft lands in sea during the take off. A helicopter rescues the pilot and the pilot is assisted on the deck of the carrier. Fighter aircraft take off from deck of the carrier. North Korean positions are heavily strafed by U.S. fighters near Pohang. Smoke rises from the explosions. The aircraft return to USS Valley Forge. An aircraft crash lands on the deck of the carrier. Ground crew and fire fighters rush toward the aircraft to prevent it from catching fire.
