A film based on flight operations of U.S. Navy F8U-1 Crusader fighter aircraft in the United States. An F8U-1 prepares for an air refueling. The F8U-1 with wing down and wing leading edge in cruise droop position. The pilot turns off all electrical equipment and places the probe switch in out position. The probe extends from the ferrying door of the F8U-1 and approaches drogue. A hose and the drogue make engagement with the receiving aircraft. The hose and the drogue disconnects from the plane after admission of the fuel. The probe retracts. The probe switch held at in position by the pilot.
