A cemetery in Hiroshima, Japan. The cemetery shows tombstones with small crypt stones displaced and human bones scattered around. Rows of small boxes containing remains of people stacked along a wall. A Japanese girl kneels in front of the boxes in prayer. Front view of the girl praying. Interiors show a girl seated at a table piled with several articles used in a religious ceremony. A man enters to pick up the remains of his beloved one. He bows to an official and hands the official his identification slip. The official in turn looks through a file and then walks to the large stock pile of small wooden boxes containing the remains. The official selects the proper one and hands it over to the relative. The relative brings the box containing the remains to the Japanese girl for necessary prayers.
