U.S. Vice President Richard Nixon visits South Vietnam. Exteriors of a government building show Nixon and U.S. Army Lieutenant General John W. O'Daniel standing with Vietnamese officials in white suits. Civilians gathered holding banners. A large parade of South Vietnamese military units takes place, led by a marching band. Nixon stands with President of South Vietnam Ngo Dinh Diem. Vice-President Nixon makes a brief statement into the microphone. He is followed by Colonel Nguyen Van Y, who also makes brief remarks.
