Nazi concentration camps in Germany. Buchenwald Concentration Camp in Germany. German civilians from nearby city of Weimar heading towards the camp for a forced tour, soon after the camp's liberation during World War II. Women laugh and talk as they walk on road. Elevated view from camp building looking down on main courtyard of camp as group of German citizens is led across the square. Line of citizens entering the camp through the main gate, as seen from just inside the main gate. The group looks at exhibits of lampshades and frames made of human skin. Evidence of Nazi atrocities including two shrunken heads of holocaust victims being shown to the German citizens. A civilian woman who has fainted is carried away. Civilians are forced to look at a prisoner whose toes are gone or removed, and whose feet are severly deformed by abuse and neglect. A horse cart heaped with dead bodies of emaciated camp victims is seen outside a camp building. German women walk out crying. Liberated prisoners stand at camp fences and watch as the citizens leave the camp.
