U.S. air strikes in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. USAF (United States Air Force) Douglas A-1G Skyraider attack aircraft drop two Mark 82 (Mk.82) high-drag bombs on open flat terrain in support of Operation MacArthur. The bombs explode on the terrain, 30 miles east, to the southwest of Pleiku, on 10 September. Douglas A-1G Skyraider' releases BLU-27 incendigel bombs (like napalm) followed by explosions in grove of trees 55 miles south southwest of Pleiku in support of Operation MacArthur.
