Capabilities of a Minesweeping Boat (MSB)underway off the shore of the United States. The purpose of moored minesweeping is to contact and cut the mine moor and destroy it. Crewmen aboard the ship work with equipment. The ship is equipped with sweep gears, float, otter and cables of stainless steel sweep wires. Cutters are attached to inboard and sweep wires. Animation depicts: the mechanism of the sweep wires, float, otter, depressor and float pendent. A flag indicates the position of the float in the ocean.
