Ground mobility courses at the U.S. Army Infantry School at Fort Benning in Georgia, United States. Infantry soldiers look on as an expert drives a tank across a bumpy terrain during a ground mobility course. They learn techniques to inspect vehicles. They also learn to control the vehicles. The expert instructs them about tools, equipment and personnel required to keep vehicles operating. They receive a mechanical training in caring for, repairing and maintaining equipment. An instructor teaches them theory and functions of each section of infantry vehicles. Infantry officers practice by applying their knowledge in repairing vehicles brought to the school's maintenance shop.
