U.S. Army Air Corps Third Aviation Instruction Center in Issoudun, France during World War I. U.S. Army pilots aim machine guns at moving target consisting of an aircraft model traveling horizontally along a wire or string. The soldiers track the moving target with their machine guns. A student or officer shows one of the machine guns up close and demonstrates techniques to load and adjust the the machine gun on a tripod stand. Another student seated in an airplane cockpit behind the same type of machine gun. A target board used for target practice, with images of enemy aircraft in various positions, to simulate dogfight battle.
