Next slate reads: "The 'Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse,' had been transformed from a liner, whilst at sea, six heavy guns and 24 machine guns being mounted." A documentary depicts safety measures and rescue procedures for workers in mines in the United States. Dramatization shows a miner underground nailing up a curtain to reduce suffocation effects of smoke or explosion. On the surface, a mine worker rescue truck arrives. Rescuers strap on rescue backpacks with oxygen air tanks and head toward a mine to rescue trapped miners.
