King George V and Queen Mary at the Coronation Durbar arena in Delhi, India, in 1911. They are seen under the royal canopy, surrounded by troops wearing White helments, white gloves, and white puttees. Complete change of scene shows women on horse-drawn floats in a suffrage movement parade on 42nd street, East of 5th Avenue in New York City, circa 1912. A woman dressed as Columbia stands in the first float,wearing a banner with word "Suffrage" on it. and some men supporters march in the parade. Crowds watch from the sidewalks. Uniformed policemen escort the marchers. Several women ride in a second float, wearing various costumes, including those of 17th Century pilgrims and of the 18th Century revolutionary war era. The float displays an American flag and some other type, as well. An automobile festooned with flowers, follows behind. The final scene shifts to London, England, circa 1905, and shows women's suffrage leader, Emmeline Pankhurst, carrying a bouquet of flowers, as she is escorted by a gentleman, out of a professional office building. One sign on the building reads,"Goodale, Hobson, & MacHahon.This refers to William Goodale, Alfred Allen Hobson, and Patrick Maurice MacMahon, Solicitors, 9, Essex Street, Strand London, England. (Note: that firm dissolved in 1907.)

Earliest motion pictures captured at the turn of the 20th century in Europe. Berlin 1895: Otto Von Bismarck, Chancellor of Germany, addresses Germans about the need for 'blood and iron'. Large crowd gathered at a Berlin square to hear him. Next scene is in England, United Kingdom, in 1903: The young boy future Prince of Wales and future King Edward VIII plays with his brother Albert (the future King George VI) and his sister, Mary (Princess Royal and Countess of Harewood) on the grounds of Windsor Castle. The two boys hold toy guns and march. Next images are in Moscow, Russia, in 1907: Nicholas II, Tsar of Russia, at a gathering with military officials and other dignitaries. A large crowd outside the palace. Germany, 1910: Kaiser Wilhelm II along with other military officials at an orphanage. Children put up a show for the German Emperor. Orphan children posing with the Kaiser.

Scenes of Naval Operating Base, Hampton Roads, Virginia in 1925

Naval Operating Base, Hampton Roads, Virginia (renamed U.S. Naval Station Norfolk, in 1945 ). U.S. Navy Commander seated in a chair aboard a ship. A large group of civilian businessmen and officials pose on board a ship with several American Navy officers and one British Naval officer, for a photograph. Some of them stand and some are seated. One civilian stands in front of the group and poses with an American Navy Captain. Change of scene shows Admiral Way on the Navy Base, containing mansions and other structures from the 1907 Jamestown Exposition. It is a very windy day and several civilians are seen on a sidewalk and entering a large building on Admiral Way. Numerous Navy personnel in uniform are seen in the area, including a number of Naval officers entering that building and others heading there along a sidewalk. Residential mansions are seen in the vicinity along Admiral Way.
