Lou and Eleanor Hamilton and family comes out of their house in New Jersey, enter their custom mobile home (a converted bus) and start traveling. While Lou drives, Eleanor sits next to him with their dog on her lap. While they travel, we see their son shaving and their daughter making tea and playing cards. The narrator explains that traveling for them is possible only because Lou created a portable dialysis machine for use by Eleanor, who has kidney disease. Various shots of Lou constructing the machine are seen. He uses a drill press to drill metal. We also see a second bus that Lou has created called the 'Kidney Koach' which he has outfitted with various exhibits explaining kidney disease and the mechanics behind kidney dialysis.

Colors like pink, blue and red are used in the early, historic computer art and animation technology. Men seated in a control room, interacting with the digital computer and other animation and recording hardware. Sponsor of the ship, Ilo Browne Wallace, wife of Vice President Henry A. Wallace, Christens the Iowa by breaking a bottle of champagne over her bow, and the ship moves down the ways toward the East River. The Williamsburg Bridge is seen dimly in the background, as the Iowa plunges into the water. Camera focuses, next, on the USS New Jersey (BB-62) ready for launching at the Philadelphia Navy Yard on December 7, 1942. Men knock supports from below the New Jersey, in preparation for her launching. Next, she is seen moving down the ways. Closeups of some shipyard workers smiling as the New Jersey is launched.
