Pilot leaves the cockpit. He slowly ascends to the surface. Animation shows that if a person ascends without properly reducing lung pressure, he may develop lung problems. Mediastinal Emphysema, Air Embolism, Pneumothorax can be the major problems. The pilot goes beneath the water again. He wears an oxygen mask. He disconnects himself, leaves the cockpit and ascends to the surface.
Pilot in the sea. Helicopter flies in the sky. He holds a float tube and tries to move with it. He moves himself onto the float tube and ignites a flare. The helicopter pilot sees the flare and comes down to rescue him. Pilot holds the rope. The pilot is reeled up into the helicopter. An airplane takes off.
Adolf Hitler and Hermann Goering, carrying a Field Marshal's baton, lead a procession of Nazi officers and officials along a street in Saarbrücken, Germany, three years after the Saar territory rejoined Germany, in 1935. (This visit was included in Hitler's return from travel to the Sudetenland.) Next Hitler is seen standing in an open car as it passes a construction project, where some workers stand on scaffolding. On the street below, are Nazi officers and officials, and behind them, citizens fill the sidewalks. Joseph Goebbels is seen riding in the back seat of the car. Among business establishments along the street, they pass the Saarland Hotel, bedecked with swastikas. Some of the hotel staff wave from a balcony.
Adolf Hitler arrives at the inauguration of 1000 km of completed autobahn near Breslau, Germany (present day Wrocław, Poland). He walks with other officers through a cheering crowd. He makes a speech from a podium. He stands in an open car and drives towards a ribbon to open road. Children give flowers to him. Soldiers stand holding banners. Hitler talks to German mother standing with children. Hitler salutes from the car as soldiers in trucks and other military vehicles move down the autobahn. Inspector General for German Roadways Fritz Todt also seen with Hitler in some of the shots and riding in the car.
During the Second Italian-Ethiopian War, General Emilio De Bono arrives at an Italian Air Base. He reviews the troops, and addresses them. General De Bono awards medals to several flyers who then stand as a group for photographs. Ceremony concludes with troops passing in review.
Ethiopian fighters gather near large wood and straw buildings in Ethiopia. More arrive in vehicles including Emperor Haile Salassie, who is surrounded by a cordon of Ethiopian fighters and then enters an automobile and is driven away.
