Opening scene shows a virtual tent city set up to facilitate voting by numerous elements of Ford United Auto Workers Union 600. Camera pans over the scene where buses are transporting members. They are voting on the question of ratifying the first UAW contract with Ford Motor Company that was signed June 20, 1941. A bus pulls up to a curb. She picks it up again and holds it. She then opens the front door as the cameraman (unseen) moves into the doorway to show the snow on the ground outside. Scene shifts to several women and men guests socializing near the fireplace. Change of scene shows one guest with a gun outside the cabin. A rabbit is nearby. Later, inside, he picks up the, now dead, rabbit up by the ears and places it in a cardboard box. Harry Bennett speaks to his guests.
