The luncheon is hosted by Lieutenant General Omar Bradley, who converses with Committee members at the head table. Among those seated at other parts of the table is Republican Congresswoman Clare Boothe Luce of Connecticut. She sits between two Army officers, and across from Republican Congressman Paul W. Shafer of Michigan. Closer to the camera, a field grade woman army officer is seen among the military guests. This sequence captures the end of the luncheon, when guests are having coffee.
