Major General U.S. Marine Corps Smedley Darlington Butler bares 'Business Plot' at Newtown Square in Pennsylvania. He reveals that he had appeared before a congressional committee to reveal what he knew about those who had asked him to head an army of 500,000 men in a 'Fascist' March as part of an attempt to takeover the functions of government and setup a fascist dictatorship in the United States. (This was also sometimes called the failed Wall Street Putsch or The White House Putsch, a coup to overthrow President Franklin Roosevelt.)

A Federal marshal ascends a ramp leading to deck of the Colombian ship, "Cueuta," docked in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He presents some papers to the Captain, who reads and returns them. The marshal then fastens a padlock together with the papers, to the gate of the ships railing, and departs. Brief View aboard the ship, with Colombian flag flying at her stern. (The padlocking was pending settlement of a claim for back pay by a former member of the crew.)
