A C-47 aircraft taxis along the airstrip to stop at Empress Augusta Bay air field in Bougainvilie, Solomon Island during World War II. Doors of the plane are opened and cargo being unloaded from it. Cargo is loaded onto a 2 ½ ton truck. The truck moves away from the plane.
Kaiser Wilhelm II arrives to officially open Germany's new Olympic Stadium near Berlin.
Official opening of Germany's Olympic stadium (Deutsches Stadion) on the 25th Anniversary of the Kaiser's coronation. Kaiser Wilhelm and Empress Augusta Viktoria, in their carriage, drive into the center of the new stadium grounds (Deutsches Stadion) built near Berlin, to host the 1916 Olympics. They are accompanied by several horse guards. The Kaiser is dressed in Hussar uniform including fur Busby adorned with Totenkopf (Death Head) emblem. The Royal couple step from their carriage. In next sequence, they are seen silhouetted with a number of dignitaries, under a canopy. Members of various athletic clubs parade across the grounds, carrying banners and flags, many adorned with award ribbons. The Kaiser watches from under the canopy, with Empress Augusta Viktoria, standing behind him. The Kaiser salutes some marchers. A large contingent of girls marches past, all dressed in dark skirts and white blouses. Bicyclists race around a track, as spectators watch from the stadium stands. A formation of men and one of women perform calisthenics in unison on the field. Another glimpse under the canopy, shows the Empress conversing with an officer behind her, dressed in Hussar garb, similar to the Kaiser, who continues to salute as various groups pass in review.

General Erich Ludendorff converses with an officer and a civilian while seated at an outdoor table. Unidentified Prussian officers and officials stand with several ladies outdoors in a courtyard. Spectators lean out of a window in overlooking building.

The Empress The enters their open back limousine, followed by the Kaiser, who is dressed in military uniform with Prussian style helmet. They drive off while German Officer salutes. Complete change of scene shows well-dressed crowd of spectators gathered in Budapest, Hungary, to watch a horse race. Some spectators use binoculars. View of horses in final stretch and crossing finish line. Next scene shows "Flower Day" in Vienna Austria. Wealthy citizens crowd shopping area and contribute to help the poor. They receive flowers as token of contribution. Some men wear flowers in their lapels. Little girls with baskets of flowers participate in the activities, standing in front of the Cafe Scheidl and "Zum Fenstergucker" house near corner of Kaerntner Strasse and Walfischgasse next to the Opera House. A street car decorated with garlands of flowers is a center of the activity. Women on the top deck of the street car reach down with small nets on long poles to retrieve contributions from passersby.

Various scenes, not necessarily in chronological order, associated with the wedding of Princess Viktoria Luise of Prussia, daughter of Kaiser Wilhelm II, and Prince Ernest Augustus of Brunswick- Luneburg, son of the Duke and Duchess of Cumberland on 24 May, 1913, in Berlin, Germany. King George V of England enters a royal coach followed by Kaiser Wilhelm II. Footman places carriage robe over their legs and they depart, followed by a mounted military rider escort. Another royal coach arrives immediately and Empress Auguste Victoria (Augusta Victoria) of Germany and her daughter, Princess Victoria Louise of Prussia, step into it. The coach moves away. View of many men in formal military uniforms on walkway behind. More carriages arriving as many ladies emerge from passageway to the walkway in the background. Princess Viktoria Luise, and Prince Ernest Augustus enter a motorcar. Contingents of mounted German Guards Cuirassiers lead the way for the royal coaches carrying King George V of England and Kaiser Wilhelm II, and Empress Auguste Victoria and Princess Victoria Louise. More contingents of mounted German Guards Cuirassiers follow behind.
Kaiser Wilhelm II dedicates Germany's new Olympic Stadium on the 25th Anniversary of his Coronation
On June 8, 1913, the 25th anniversary of his coronation, Kaiser Wilhelm II presided over the inauguration of the new stadium (Deutsches Stadion) built near Berlin, to host the 1916 Olympics. These scenes were recorded immediately after the ceremonies. A German Admiral exits from a stadium building in Deutsches Stadion (Deutsches Stadion, Olympischer Platz 3, 14053 Berlin). Soon after, Kaiser Wilhelm II, exits, conversing with German Chancellor, Theobald von Bethmann-Hollweg. The Kaiser is attired in Hussar full dress uniform with fur busby. A German officer salutes and directs the Kaiser to athletes (German Olympic hopefuls) standing to the side, whom he introduces to the Kaiser. The Chancellor turns back into the building, and Empress Augusta Viktoria emerges and stands nearby, as the Kaiser speaks with the athletes and shakes hands with several of them. He chats amicably with the introducing officer, who smiles and salutes. The Kaiser then climbs into a waiting carriage in which the Empress is already seated. She holds a booklet or program in her hand. Attendants place a carriage robe over the Royal Couple and the carriage departs. Spectators watching the Royals are seen behind a railing at the Grunewald Racecourse track (part of the complex). The broad expanse of athletic grounds is behind them. Final scenes show many youths, walking along at the end of the ceremonies. in various uniforms (representing schools or clubs). some carry programs. some wear sashes on their outfits. Family groups are also seen. Stadium seats are seen briefly in the background to the left. A group of girls wearing dark skirts and white blouses with dark ties, are among the various small groups of youth walking together. (Note: The Deutsches Stadion was located in an area reserved as a Peoples' Park, by the Kaiser, in 1904. The property was leased for 30 years, in 1907, by the Union-Klub for the Grunewald Racecourse. But it also continued to serve general sports activities. The stadium was built on the racecourse grounds.)
