A crew truck is pulled up in front of a parked F4U Corsair airplane (number 036) of the Marine Aircraft Group 11. ("MAG-11"is displayed on door of the crew truck.) A seat pack parachute sits on the truck fender. Plane captain straddles the cockpit of the airplane. Pilots gather next to the aircraft as the senior officer gives a last minute briefing after which they pick up their parachutes and head toward their respective aircraft. The pilot of aircraft number 036 climbs into his cockpit with help from his plane captain, starts the engine and taxis out for takeoff. Film about Denmark after the Nazi German occupying force declared martial law and state of war with Denmark, in 1943-44 during World War 2. It was made by Danes and smuggled out of Denmark during that period. Opens with view of a church building and flocks of birds. Allied prisoners hold American flags at a Japanese prison camp in Santo Tomas University in Manila, Philippines. General Douglas Macarthur arrives at Santo Tomas on February 6. Japanese forces fire artillery at the camp on February 7 and injured prisoners are carried away for medical aid. Malnourished men and women work at the camp. People outside their thatched roof huts. Women and children eat and drink. A woman shows gratitude in finally being able to smoke a cigarette. Red Cross field workers hand over mail to the internees. Prisoners read their mail.
