Jamaica attains independence. Princess Margaret and her husband, Earl of Snowden arrive to attend the ceremony to mark the independence of Jamaica. They are greeted by Prime Minister Alexander Bustamante and other officials at the airport. As the motorcade carrying Princess and her husband moves down a road crowds cheer them.
