A crowd fills the sold-out Ladd Peebles Stadium, in Mobile Alabama, for the Senior Bowl game, matching all star football players from the North and the South. Oregon State's Bob Grim is seen running the ball to pick up 25 yards. North's Quarterback hits Iowa State's Eppie Barney for a touchdown, with 1:13 remaining in the 3rd period. South quarterback Terry Southal, of Baylor, passes to Louisiana State's Dick Redding for a touchdown at the 13:12 mark of the 4th quarter. SAC (Strategic Air Command) performs DEFCON (DEFense readiness CONdition) 1-S demonstration at Barksdale Air Force base in Louisiana. U.S. Air Force aircraft at air force base. The demonstration to examine the capability of SAC aircraft force against a missile attack. The aircraft taxis and takes position on DEFCON parking area from normal parking area adjacent to the runway. The posture is maintained for 45 days. Crew in live aboard status. Electrical power being supplied by ground support equipment. Air conditioner and heater provided according to the climate. Hot meals and sanitation facility are provided by base support activity. Crew live in shelters near by so that they can maintain the minimum take off behind the board crew. The alert alarm goes off. The crew members get in the vans. The live aboard crew start the engine, mean while the non live aboard crew boards the aircraft. The plane taxis on the runway one after the other.
