In 1926, Frederick Patterson, in cab of a Steam shovel, breaks ground for the construction of Wright Field in Dayton, Ohio. Horses pull wagons past the steam shovel. In addition to Orville Wright, the event was attended by Secretary of War, Davis; Judge (and Baseball Commissioner) Kenesaw Landis; Assistant Secretary, F.
