Jackson, Congressman from California, who is a member of the Committee. Next, are closeup views of Robert E. Stripling, Chief Counsel for the Committee. He is relaxed and sitting in a chair quietly listening to a Committee conversation (unseen). Change of scene shows reporter from Television station KTTV interviewing Committee member, Donald L. Jackson. Scene shifts to Committee Chairman, Wood, smiling as he speaks before taking his chair as Committee Chairman. A large American flag forms the backdrop. Chairman Wood settles into his chair. Scene shirts showing a uniformed guard outside a door with a sign reading: "Un-American Activities Committee." The Guard opens the door, and a woman comes out. Inside, Committee members put on their suit jackets and begin leaving the room. One of them is Committee member, Clyde Gilman Doyle, Congressman from California. Committee members rise from their seats and begin leaving the room. Camera focuses on one unidentified person inside the room and another taking a smoke outside the Courthouse. Chairman Wood is seen outside the Courthouse, taking a break with members of his Committee and staff. They reenter the building, where witnesses and other attendees are being seated.
