Sorenson skis down a track and breaks his own New England title record in Salisbury Mills, New York.

A skiing-jumping competition in Salisbury Mills, New York. A ski jump in Salisbury Mills. People stand on either side of the track to watch the skiers. Higgins Boat riddled with bullet holes. Scene shifts to January 1944 when United States Army troops descend from a troop transport ship into LCT-504 for practice maneuvers in the Chesapeake Bay.
