Men of the Marine Detachment push bomb carts over the flight deck, with bombs to be loaded aboard the aircraft.. They are monitored by Aviation Ordnancemen, AOC Fidel Cisneroz, AO3 Jim Freemon, and LTJG Dan Clark. Four pilots in flight gear, walk on the flight deck. Aviation ordnancemen, AOAN Carl Collier (viewers left) and AO3 Ron Colaw use a small bomb hoist to place a 1000 pound bomb under the carriage of the A-1H aircraft. (Vietnam War period).
