Numerous views of abandoned German 88mm flak antiaircraft guns as seen by invading American forces during their incursions deep into Germany in final month of World War 2, in Europe. Many have barrels broken or spiked. At least one appears intact, pointed vertically toward the sky. These guns appear to surround an airfield or other open space.
Opening scene shows the Monument to the Battle of the Nations erected in Leipzig, in 1913, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the epic battle of Leipzig, and the defeat of Napoleon by a coalition of allies arrayed against the French. A Stuart tank pulls out of position and passes the line of parked tanks. It is followed by a jeep and another tank. Another scene shows infantrymen climbing aboard a Stuart tank for a ride forward.
