Young girls sweeping up rubble with push brooms. The dignitaries cheer people of London who have suffered the most in the air raid. Firemen spraying water from fire hoses to control the fire in buildings.

They march towards the camp. They are seen erecting tents and setting up a complete camp on the field. Lieutenant General Hugh A. Soldiers taking their belongings to the tents. KPs and mess attendant peel potatoes for a meal. One soldier sets up as a barber and shaves others. After camp is set up, some soldiers are seen resting on cots inside their tents. (World War II period).
