Beginning of the Morava Offensive, pitting Bulgarian forces against Serbs in World War I. Individual Bulgarian soldiers are seen along with civilians in a town square. Bulgarian troops drive numerous horse-drawn wagons loaded with military supplies. Men, women, children and several dogs are seen in the square. Citizens watch as the military convoys pass. Street scene in town. Numerous individual soldiers walking about. Bullock carts carry goods along the roadway. Two Bulgarian officers drive past in an open automobile.
Bulgarian troops cavort on a heavy cannon on a captured Serbian fortification. At a city gateway, Bulgarian soldiers are seen walking about in field gear with back packs. A man walks beside a bullock cart. Several Bulgarian officers on horseback and two in an automobile, emerge from the city gate. A steel bridge across the Morava River, partially destroyed by retreating Serbian forces. Long lines of troops and equipment cross a substitute wooden bridge erected nearby. Men are seen in a barge in the river, between the two bridges. Some troops appear to be working to repair the steel bridge. Bulgarian troops building another wooden bridge over the river. More troops and supplies seen crossing the river.
