The House Committee of Un-American Activities (HUAC or HCUA) an Investigating Committee of the United States House of Representatives, questions Hollywood movie industry persons about communist propaganda. Mrs Lela Rogers, member of American Motion Pictures Association testifies. She says that the American producers are businessman not politicians. She says that the communist is a trained propagandist. His ways are devious and not easy to follow. Executives of Motion Pictures are well aware of it and are interested in cleaning communist propaganda out of their pictures. She says that there are very few pictures with communist propaganda in them that were successes at the box office. . She suggests congress legislate a bill of rights for those who warrant it that would not protect the rights of agents of a foreign government, which she considers communists to be.
