Scenes of funeral services held for Patriarch Sergius of Moscow (born Ivan Nikolayevich Stragorodsky) in the Soviet Union. Russian Orthodox bishops dressed in robes held a procession with the body of Patriarch Sergius of Moscow. A man holds the Russian Orthodox patriarch’s crown during procession. Later Patriarch Sergius’ remains is paraded with a casket. The Russian Orthodox priests and civilians follow the casket which is being taken to the graveyard. The casket is lowered into the grave.
