A sanitation worker man dumps garbage into a garbage truck. A postman walking, goes to a house, puts the mail letter into the house and walks away. Mail man walks on road and then goes to a house, a lady comes out, postman hands her the relevant letter and lady goes inside the house. 1950s vintage image of American middle class family around a dining table with two girls eating, husband reading newspaper, a lady comes in with the envelope. She opens the envelope and shows it to the man. Woman helps clean up milk spilled by child at table. Woman in a typical grocery store aided by immigrant grocer who came to United States 20 years prior; postman comes in, talks to the lady. A woman at her desk in an office, man comes and hands her an envelope. A woman with a boy in a dentist office is seated next to a woman at her desk. Dentist enters office and boy follows him back. An old man and elderly woman walking beside a farm building collect letters from a mail box and walk away. Postman enters local High School building. Women students work in a laboratory, a girl looks through a microscope. A bus on road bringing passengers to a stop at a polling place on voting day for the town. American citizens wait in line to vote.
