Soldiers are dispatched and walk past bullet pocked walls to view the bodies of dead revolutionaries led by Fidel Castro in an unsuccessful attack on the barracks. They sort through a pile of materials, including weapons, taken from the fallen revolutionaries. The Army is preparing to pursue the revolutionaries, who have fled into the mountains.View of military hospital. Flag-covered coffins of fallen combatants are lined up in a courtyard, surrounded by spectators. Armed guards are present. Police examine arms captured from revolutionaries and their damaged hideout. Violence is seen in the streets, as police try to control it. Injured persons brought to a hospital. Castro is surrounded by admirers and talks to them.
