Auto landing systems tests aboard the United States Ship America (CVA-66). A-7A plane gets ready for a flight. Its pilot closes the canopy. Flight deck personnel on the deck. Cat crew looks over the hook protruding out from the 4 nose wheel, as the A-7A moves onto the catapult. Crewman raises his forefinger. Catapult console control man and other personnel on deck. Cat officer gives a launch signal and plane takes off. Blast fence comes up as soon as plane takes off. Catapult console operator raises both hands in air, he presses a button to launch the aircraft.
