A carrier loaded with a container carrying A-5 missile (precursor to A-4 or V-2 rocket) being taken off the ship at Greifswalder Oie island in Germany. A vehicle carries the container to the launch site where the container is unloaded from the carrier. Rocket specialists and technicians monitor missile launch from a building, as a wind vane indicates the direction of the wind. A German aircraft Fiseler "Storch" lands and officials meet the pilot. One is Wernher von Braun. Container is taken off from the missile as it gets ready for launch. Missile emits smoke and fire as it takes off. It moves upwards and a man opens a parachute and lands at the launch site. (World War II period).
