Emmie, a victim of rape, exits a bus and runs and gets into a telephone booth, almost struck by a car on the way to the phone booth. She calls a support line. The woman offers support over the phone, though Emmie is nervous and crying. Emmie goes to meet the lady and rings the door bell. The lady greets Emmie and introduces herself as 'Monica'. Monica and Emmie go into room where some women are seated. Monica introduces all of them to Emmie. Introduction of women seated in the room and reasons that brought them there. An old woman speaks.
