The psychoactive drug brings about temporary changes in the normal activities of the cat. The cat becomes sluggish and reacts only when the laboratory technician teases it with a stick. The cat's eyes are wide open. The cat feels drowsy and is unconscious. They is no reaction. Another cat under the same medication also feels drowsy, becomes inactive and is unconscious.
