Large numbers of Detroit police guard the General Motors plant against striking workers at the Chevrolet Gear and Axle plant in Detroit, Michigan. They permit only four pickets in front of the plant. Police on horseback and with motorcycles and on foot. Workers protest and address a rally. Worker's children cross the police line and picket. The police finally relent and picketing continues unabated, closing the plant. Scene of Courthouse in Saginaw, Michigan, where General Motors obtained a Court Injunction against picketing.
