White House staff farewell address by departing President Richard Nixon, at the White House in Washington DC, after the President's resignation. His assistants, advisors including Dr Henry Kissinger and others applaud. President Nixon waves. He starts his final speech, a farewell speech to the White House staff. Nixon recalls his poor family background, his parents and death of his brothers and becomes choked-up in the speech several times. Emotional staff members are shown. Nixon finishes his speech with high spirit, good hopes and thanks all. The people in the hall applaud as Nixon family leaves.
