Skiing equipment for ski troopers in extreme temperatures in the United States. A ski trooper shows a light waterproof rucksack in an equipment room. Padded shoulder straps, a webbed backrest and a light weight metallic frame are displayed on a table. The equipment is carefully rolled before being placed in the rucksack. A stove placed in a case and then into a bowl, a map case placed at the back of the rucksack. The extra clothing is put in the main compartment and the fuel is placed separately to avoid contamination. Small equipment is placed in a canteen cup and put inside the outer case of the rucksack. Socks, mittens and a white gun cover are packed in the side pockets. A pan is placed in the main compartment. A canteen in the sleeping bag. The sleeping bag, a white rucksack cover and a patrol kit are put inside the rucksack. The top flap and the side compartments are closed. An ax is hooked outside the rucksack.
