BARNHART, Jr., USN, speaks to crew over the ship's public address system. He wears helmet with "CO" painted on it, and a life vest. Crew members, including two officers, lean over a plotting board depicting relative positions of vessels in the vicinity. They discuss the matter while one, wearing a headset, annotates the plot with information.
