Two yugoslav women partisons in uniform, carrying rifles, descend steps in a village and sit down on one, with their small children, during World War 2. One is a boy and one a girl. Closeup of the one mother talking to her boy. They pose in closeup for the camera. (The boy has a hairpin to keep a lock of his hair in place.) Camera then focuses on the other mother and her little girl, whom she hugs. The little girl and boy pose for the camera, as she hugs him. Then they both get up and leave with their mothers. (Glimpse of the legs of several other village children in background.)
