Crewmen push a torpedo in a launcher aboard the submarine. The door of the launcher being closed. A chief speaks to men around the launcher. A vessel on the horizon as seen through a periscope. A merchant ship underway. Men fire the torpedo launcher at the ship. The merchant ship breaks in half as a result of the explosion. Various circular water tight doors being secured.
