United States Air Force F-105 Thunderchief fighter aircraft piloted by Captain Charles Loucks from the 34th TFS, Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base, in flight over ammunition dump in Hoai An. Aircraft drop bombs. Smoke column rises from blasts. (Note: Captain Loucks completed 150 missions over North Vietnam in the F-105, receiving the Flying Cross with four oak leaf clusters during this time.)
