The Wright Brothers promote their airplane through an exhibition flight in Rome, Italy in 1909. Italian soldiers assist with the removal of the Wright aircraft from a storage building. The Wright aircraft takes off from a launching rail. An Italian officer accompanies Wilbur Wright on the flight. Italian King Victor Emmanuel III and members of cabinet stand on an airfield and watch the show. Several of the spectators take pictures of the aircraft in flight. The aircraft goes down the rail, takes off, flies over a flat terrain and continues its flight.
