United States 1st Tank Battalion of the 1st Marine Division in Korea during the Korean War.U.S. Marines work to repair an M4 Sherman tank, equipped with a dozer blade. A cable is fastened to the tank from a crane on an M32 tank recovery vehicle. Marines use sledge hammers to adjust tank treads. In change of scene, a marine rides a cable from the recovery vehicle as others fasten it to the tank. In next scene, operators lower the A-frame crane of the M32 recovery vehicle. The M4 tank, with dozer blade atop it, follows the recovery vehicle away from the site. The M32, with 5 marines, plus the driver, aboard, is seen leading the M4 through waters of a river.
