United States airmen at Alto Air Base in Corsica, France during World War II. Women perform on a stage during a ENSA (Entertainments National Service Association) show for U.S. Army airmen at the air base (akin to the USO, but British based). The soldiers clap as they watch the artists perform. Women in grass skirts, gowns, and shorter skirts perform on the stage. Girls in skirts dance to entertain the airmen. Soldiers smile, laugh, and clap. An airman also performs on the stage, imitating a girl dancing.
