Willie Mays signs record contract with San Francisco Giants Baseball Team in 1966
American baseball superstar Willie Mays signs a two-year contract with the San Francisco Giants at a reported $130,000 a year, then a major league record. Cameras, reporters seen covering the event as Mays talks with Giants' officials and journalists. Scenes of Mays playing baseball with Giants, including a steal of second base, his famous over-the-shoulder catch in game 1 of the 1954 World Series, and hitting a record-tying four home runs in one game against the Milwaukee Braves early in the 1961 season. Last shot is Mays with Giants' owner Horace Stoneham.

The test was to confirm silo launch configuration and feasibility of launch from with in a silo. Ground level surface of silo. Underground ignition of the missile. Flames emerge from silo ducts. Missile emerges from silo and climbs. Flames from missile rocket boosters. 03 May 1961.

First in-silo launch of liquid fueled ICBM Titan VS-1 from Silo Launch Test Facility,Vandenberg. Code named 'Silver Saddle' the Titan carries a dummy second stage. Ground level surface of silo. Flames ignite from two silo ducts after initial ignition. Missile emerges from ground and climbs up in to sky. 3 May 1961. (Note: This launch was an engineering test of the range safety destruct system as well as a prototype Titan II silo, as that missile was still over a year away from its first launch. Following first stage burnout, the dummy second stage, which was filled with water, was detonated. The water formed an ice cloud that was then photographed. This experiment would later be performed on two Saturn I launches.)

United States Marine helicopter, carrying Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and his daughter, Indira Nehru (Indira Gandhi), lands at the Disneyland heliport in Anaheim, California. Prime Minister Nehru and daughter meets Walt Disney (Walt Elias Disney), who conducts them, personally, on a tour of Disneyland Park. Tomorrowland rides and attractions are seen. Prime Minister Nehru rides beside Walt Disney in a small open train that conveys them past waterfalls high on Matterhorn Mountain, and a recreation of an American Indian encampment. Nehru is seen waving to crowds at the park. Later, (on his 72nd Birthday) the Prime Minister and his daughter are feted at a reception by Mr. Eric Johnston, President of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), and wife Ina Harriet Hughes. Hollywood actors Edward G. Robinson and Charlton Heston are among the persons seen conversing with the Prime Minister.
