Secret Service agents in tan rain coats patrol the pathway. Moments later, Marine One, the helicopter carrying the Presidential party, lands. The crowd stands close to the helicopter as Pat Nixon steps from it, followed by President Nixon and their daughter, Patricia. The President and First Lady immediately begin mingling with people lined up against the ropes, under watchful eyes of Secret Service agents.
