Central figure in reviewing stand is Cuban Army Chief of Staff, Colonel Fulgencio Batista. People standing outside the railing. Cuban Flags fly. Soldiers with rifles march in formation. Officers holding flags behind the soldiers. A huge crowd on steps and in front of the Capitol. People watch the march from balconies and roofs of buildings along line of march. Sign on one reads: El Diario de la Marina. Few men with bugles and drums in front of the crowd. Parade includes: troops with pack animals, and Cavalry, led by officer on side-stepping horse. A small dog is seen on street, and a sailor on a motor cycle cuts across the line of march, at one point.
