U.S. and U.N. guards quell riots at the camps, resulting in death of North Korean prisoners and injuries. Medics are seen treating injured North Korean prisoners. U.N. guards escort prisoners in lines after the riots. Scene shifts to the the United States where damaged prison property in Michigan and New Jersey is seen after prison riots. Eisenhower reaches Korea on a three day visit. He reviews an honor guard at the airport. Steel industry workers resort to strike and protest. President Eisenhower seizes the industry by an executive edict. But Judge Davis Pine rules against the President.
A tramway built by the military engineers to transfer supplies and wounded soldiers at Punchbowl in Korea.
The "Punchbowl" summit being resupplied after it was scaled and captured by the U.S. Army 2nd Division in Korea, during the Korean War. Scenes from late 1951 or early 1952. A convoy of jeeps and trucks on the road. The trucks are loaded with supplies and soldiers. Soldiers on trucks unload rations, ammunition and barbed wire supplies. They pass the boxes onto the human assembly line of South Korean soldiers. The South Koreans begin their ascend on the stairway built by the 13th engineers.
